The purpose of this Tetra Pak R1 line is to form and seal Tetra Recart cartons.

The cartons are loaded using the automatic carton loader, which automatically loads all cartons into a carton and then rejects the empty carton.

The forming and sealing machine opens, forms and seals the cartons. The cartons move upside down on a conveyor inside the machine and, once the top is sealed, the opened carton exits the machine to be filled. After filling, the open carton is returned to the machine and the bottom is sealed. The package exits the machine after acquiring its final shape in the final folding unit.

The Tetra Pak R1 is operated from a graphical interface located on the machine. Information on alarms and other operator interactions is managed from the touch screen. Performance data is automatically collected and stored in a computer.
