ARAB FOOD MACHINERY

About this machine

Belt width: 35 cm / Opening height: 12 cm

The belt is driven by a central sprocket fixed to a square drive shaft. This means that no slippage or deflection can occur in the path and that it can support a maximum weight of 60 kg distributed along the belt.

OPTIMAL OPERATION

Before using the metal detector with a new product, it is important to calibrate it with the product, so that the detector is set to the highest possible sensitivity. The metal detector can operate in three modes: dry, resistive and reactive. During calibration, the detector automatically selects the ideal operating mode for a given product.

DRY MODE

The dry mode is used with products that contain little moisture such as tea and coffee.

Dry mode can also be used with frozen foods, since water is non-conductive when frozen.

The best sensitivity is achieved with the dry mode. In this mode, the metal detector can detect one millimeter of ferrous or non-ferrous metal contaminant in a 100-millimeter aperture.

RESISTIVE MODE

The resistive mode is used with products containing a slight amount of moisture, such as flour or cocoa, or with those enriched with iron, such as cereals.

REACTIVE MODE

The reactive mode is used with products that contain a considerable amount of moisture, and which are therefore conductive and this causes them to produce a high effect when passing through the metal detector.
