The EGRETIER quick release positive displacement pump allows gentle transfer of foodstuffs. It is made entirely of stainless steel, suitable for food use.
It is associated with a helical feed screw which serves at the same time as a drive shaft, and has a "squirrel cheek". This protrusion acts as a regulator between the continuous flow of the feed screw and that of the rotor.
This pump is ideal for transferring pasty, fibrous, fragile or very difficult food products. It has been studied and designed for the transfer of delicate fruits, but it is also used for the transfer of pasty products, fish, seafood, meat and even slaughterhouse by-products, etc.
